We are seeking a permanent leasing paralegal, to join our Real Estate & Development team in the Brisbane office.
Responsible for leasing matters in all jurisdictions of Australia:
- acting for landlords of retail shopping centres with a specialty retail focus; and
- acting for major tenants in relation to leases and lease extensions.
You will have regular contact with clients and tenants and work closely with a Special Counsel in the preparation and negotiation of leases and other ancillary documents and dealing with general day to day leasing issues.
What you'll bring
We are ideally seeking a candidate with a minimum two years previous leasing experience in a large professional services environment. In addition you will have strong typing skills, advanced word skills, the ability to work unsupervised. Strong attention to detail and exceptional communication skills are essential for the day to day contact including responding to requests for amendments from client instructions.
