Our legal teams are supported by leading Corporate Services teams including Finance, Integrated Legal Solutions, Business Operations, Information Technology, Knowledge & Practice Services, Marketing & Client Services and People & Development.
We are looking for a motivated Facilities Officer to join our Perth team on a 6 month contract. This role will be required to work core business hours of 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday, however some flexibility with starting and finishing times will be required according to business need.
The successful candidate will have proven experience working in a team environment or coordination role. The candidate will work closely with the Facilities Manager and be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the tenancy, including room set-ups of furniture for meetings, functions, office moves and minor maintenance duties. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for attending to maintenance requests by staff in relation to security, cleaning, air conditioning, general maintenance repairs and requests and will be required to cover the Guest Relations Team with end of day reception and switchboard tasks. The candidate will also carry out regular Work Health and Safety related tasks and Fire Safety and Evacuation training and tasks.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience working in a similar facilities role within a corporate or professional services environment.
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of WH&S principles
- Previous experience working within Maintenance is highly desirable
- Sound knowledge of word and excel
