The Billing Officer provides high quality e-billing support services to the finance and practice support teams. The role is required to provide optimal support and continuously adapt to each new e-billing system or upgrades to existing systems. It provides a central contact point to assist users of e-billing systems with troubleshooting. This is a new role at Allens and will provide high quality e-billing support to the Partners, Lawyers and Practice Assistants within the firm, adapting to the changing needs of the role and the business. The successful candidate will participate in the development and testing of e-billing formats, as well as investigate and resolve e-billing system queries.
You will work with new clients on the respective systems and be responsible for the following accountabilities:
- Investigate and resolve rejected e-bills and Expert errors;
- Assist in correcting problematic electronic LEDES files; and
- Maintain timekeeper, matter, rates and invoice data.
What you will bring
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience of working within a professional services organisation;
- Experience in the preparation of complex billing and other matter related finance information; and
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral, experience working independently, within cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment, exceptional client services.
