We're now seeking to employ a talented Associate and a Senior Associate to join our leading Restructuring and Insolvency practice in our Melbourne office.
The team have handled some of Australia’s most significant insolvency and restructuring cases in recent years. Their specialist services include advising both creditors and debtors in relation to corporate restructuring and workouts, distressed opportunities, formal insolvency regimes and security enforcement.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Experience working in an insolvency team, ideally with a litigation skillset, at a leading Australian practice or international firm. Experience in an in-house legal team is also highly regarded.
- An ability to effectively manage smaller/mid-size matters and discrete elements of larger matters.
- A desire and ability to grow, both as a lawyer and leader.
- A willingness to build an understanding of clients and develop effective working relationships.
- An ability to establish a professional profile and internal networks.
- A willingness to develop others through mentoring and sharing experiences and networks.
